Nobody wants to experience the wilderness, but some lessons can only be learned there. Even Jesus, before stepping into all God had for Him, was led into a season of testing, refining, and preparation.

The wilderness may not be where you want to be, but you’re not forgotten there. It might be exactly where God wants to prepare you for what’s next.

The wilderness can feel lonely, and can leave you feeling empty. But don’t make the common mistake of assuming you’ve been forgotten by God. Sometimes it’s in the wilderness that we best discover He’s still near, still faithful, and still enough to carry us through.
