If anyone is interested in helping at Irish Fest this weekend, please let me know so I can get you on the list. The diocese will have a Fulton Sheen tent on Saturday afternoon and the AOH is sponsoring Mass on Sunday at 10am and the bishop will be there!

Today we gathered to work at Sacred Heart on the third floor of the parish office. Originally we were going to update this area to be a sitting room for Fr. Julio outside of the bedroom. However, when he moved into another house, we decided we would make it more of a break room for those with offices at Sacred Heart. We completed Phase 1 today, with more painting and ceiling tile replacement coming in Phase 2.

Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, marked the 125th anniversary of the birth of the Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen by recalling the sainthood candidate's great devotion to the Blessed Mother. In a letter released today, Bishop Jenky also notes that the Church will celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13. “Let us turn to Venerable Servant of God Fulton J. Sheen today as an example of devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and seek his intercession for the end of this current pandemic throughout the world,” he writes.
