One of the more narrow releases we've ever promoted, but when an kid from Morris, Illinois makes it to the major leagues and wins not one, but two World Series, and his story inspires a documentary... Yeah, we're going to promote it! Scott Spiezio is the athlete in question, and the film is about what happened between those two World Series, and since.

It's only in theaters the ONE NIGHT - September 10th - but will be streaming online not too long after.

I have had some health issues the past few weeks, and a chaotic summer overall for various reasons, so I just recently got around to watching a screening link of Elijah Peel. After hearing back from a good friend who was over the top about the film, I have fit in the film over the past few nights and I 100% agree with him. This film is powerful. Strong messages, acting and all aspects of the filmmaking process - not that I'm an expert, but I've absolutely loved this film. Not one to miss - unless you are among those who just can't stand any hospital type films.

SEPTEMBER 10th ONLY: I heard about this a week or so back, but just recently did the film release their theater list - although it had shown up on GQT Willow Knolls 14 and VIP Morton Cinemas a week or so ago!

A documentary about Morris, Illinois graduate Scott Spiezio who won two World Series, with the Angels... and St Louis Cardinals.

It's playing in LESS than 20 theaters nationwide before streaming, so I'm thankful - and a little surprised - to see the Peoria area having two options.

PLEASE if you want to go, buy your tickets ASAP. Why? Because if tickets sell early, the theater can bump the film to a larger auditorium. If they don't know the demand, they may keep it in a smaller room, and then people who show up the day of may be turned away.

Do we want a sell out? Sure... but let's sell out the largest room possible!
