John 317 Ministries A ministry to those in need of basic survival assistance and outreach to those that have experienced having the doors of a church slammed in their face.

Most everyone that has been to a church service more than a few times is able to quote John 3:16. It's quite possibly the most memorized verse in the Bible. But few people (ministers included!) have no clue what the very next verse is. "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17 NIV

It is my fervent belief John 3:16 and 17 are linked together in the scriptures for a reason. Both are critical to salvation and both are critical to fulfilling the Great Commission of spreading the Word. John 3:17 reinforces the word "Whosoever" found in 3:16, and equally importantly, serves as a guide to remind us all if Jesus wasn't sent into the world to condemn, then by what right or authority does ANY person have to condemn anyone else? Think about that, especially if you have been condemned for being who you are. One of my favorite sayings is: God doesn't call the justified, He justifies the called. Even you! :)

And always remember: The key isn't the church you belonged to; neither the doctrine you attempt to live by; nor even how many good works you do during your lifetime; but rather finding and having a PERSONAL relationship with the Savior. This page exists to help you have that and know that you are worthy and loved.
