In Matthew 18:21–35, Peter asks Jesus a question many of us have probably wondered ourselves: How many times do I really have to forgive? Jesus’ answer challenges us to think differently about forgiveness, grace, and the mercy we extend to one another.

In Exodus 3:1–15, Moses encounters God in the burning bush and discovers a God who has seen the suffering of the people, heard their cries, and chooses to stand with them. This story reminds us that God is not distant from our struggles—God meets us in them and calls us to respond.

Through Genesis 32:22–31, we’ll reflect on Jacob’s night of struggle at the Jabbok River and consider how God often meets us in seasons of uncertainty, questions, and transformation. Sometimes our deepest faith is formed not by avoiding the struggle, but by remaining faithful through it.
