Lesson scripture: Isaiah 9:6
God instructed Saul to kill all the Canaanites and destroy their ways of making money. However, Saul kept all of the good animals.
What we think may be right, may lead us to destruction.
Just do what God says and you will be alright.
The Kohathite family was part of the tribe of Levi. They were assigned with carrying all the worship emblems on their shoulders.
The first five books of the Bible is called the Torah. It was inside of the ark of the covenant.
In 1 Samuel 4 and 5 we read about the Philistines taking the ark of the covenant.
God was displeased with how the ark of covenant was being transported. We need to understand how God wants us to worship Him.
1 Samuel 4-5
When the ark of the covenant came into the camp, the people shouted. Their enemies can hear the shouting. The Philistines were afraid. However, they defeated the Israelites and took the ark, because the people did not have a relationship with God.
1 Chronicles 15:15
We must hit the reset button and find out how to worship God properly.
If you add anything to the Bible, we are not worshipping the same God.
