Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church

Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church A Reformed and Presbyterian Church of the Westminsterian stripe :) We strive to love God, our neighbors, our enemies, and our brothers in Christ.

Our page is about our church which is about our Lord Jesus. "Our" church is not really "our" church. Christ purchased us with His precious blood, He owns us - body and soul. We love the Lord. We love His church. We love His word. We love His people. We love His worship. We are the theological grandchildren of the Protestant Reformers; and especially of the Assembly of ministers at Westminster. We

love The Reformation. We would love to worship God with you at Covenant. Your friend, servant, and fellow pilgrim in Christ,
Pastor John

We should meditate on this truth all year. We would be happier and busier Christians for it. ✝️

Sunday 1/6/2002 was my first full time Sunday ministering the word of God to the flock at Covenant Church. 24 years experiencing the grace of God. Covenant Saints, it has been my honor and joy to be your under-shepherd for these many years. Thank you for all your love and prayers - Christ is so good to us. Glory to His name.

Sunday evening worship, 1/4/26 at 6:00pm. Text: I Samuel 1:1-28. Title: Hannah's Prayer and the Birth of Samuel. God is progressing His people from a tribal people to now a national people. God is advancing His kingdom upon the earth. Samuel is the last of the judges, he will anoint the first two kings of Israel, and they in turn point us to the true King of Israel, King Christ. God uses the prayers of His people, even a faithful mother in Israel.

Beloved Believer in Jesus, you are in a real, spiritual, and living relationship with the God of heaven and earth. Our daily heart desire is to think, say, do, and feel that which pleases our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What an awesome privilege we have been graced with. ✝️

Sunday evening worship, 12/21/25 at 6:00pm. Texts: Psalm 13:1-6 and Revelation 6:1-11. Title: A Psalm of Holy Complaint. Complaining to God when we suffer, in faith, is worship. Complaining about God to God or to our fellow man is sin. God wants us to honestly unburden our suffering heart to Him.
