Nina Fritz has again graciously donated her time and talent to benefit the Cathedral Council of Catholic Women’s fundraising efforts. Nina is a widely known and superb artist. Nina will paint a 16” x 20” head and shoulders or a 18” x 24” head, shoulders and hands Portrait Impression for the highest bidder.
A Portrait Impression is a spontaneous, creative painting using a live model. The goal is to capture the essence, or spirit, of the subject.

Portrait Impressions are painted “a la prima,” or “from life.” Photographs are not used.
A wonderful subject is a child or grandchild, of course; but, a portrait of yourself or your husband would be a wonderful keepsake for your children!

This item is offered now until 2 p.m., 27 April 2019, via a silent auction. You may submit bids in advance via e-mail to me at [email protected] until 8 p.m., Friday, 26 April 2019. Bids, with the time sent via e-mail will be placed on the bid sheet which will be used to continue the bidding at the Spring Fling during the day of 27 April 2019.

Bidding CLOSES at 2 p.m., 27 April 2019. This means that a person at the Spring Fling could out bid the previously received high e-mail bid. Winner will be notified as soon as possible after the Spring Fling Sale ends.

Note: If, at the end of the day, there is a tie of bids (via e-mail or at Spring Fling), the bidders will each be offered a chance to raise their bids. Repeat if necessary.
