Good afternoon all!

This Sunday Night will be the last small group for many of our Seniors. We are going to say goodbye in style with an Ice Cream Bar celebration.

We will provide the Ice Cream. We are asking if you will provide some toppings. If you are willing to grab some toppings, please contact Jared Hensley at 706-506-2834 OR via email at [email protected] .

The night will start at 5:30 p.m. and go for a couple of hours.

On Wednesday, August 8th, our interns will be saying goodbye. Your teens are invited to a dinner at Crabs on the beach at 5:00 p.m. and a sunset time of worship and farewells afterwards on the beach (Pensacola Beach right by Crabs).

We will NOT have a regular Wednesday night bible class on this evening (Wednesday, August 8th)
If you are interested in carpooling, bulk riding together, please contact Jared at the numbers above so travel can be arranged. If you drive your teen out, you are welcome to join!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Jared (I will be out of town and the torch is being passed!).

Hello all!
I hope this email finds you doing well!

If you could bring your Camp Applications (it is available at the website below) and the fee for the campers, that would be great! You can turn those in to Seth.

Also, make sure you check out the packing list (also on the web page). It will help you start your planning.

Also, we can offer transportation for 14 spots to camp, on a first come first serve basis. Beyond that, you will need to bring your own camper or arrange carpooling transportation. You will receive a schedule for Sunday and Friday.

The Senior High Trip is officially full. You should have received an email about details with that trip if your teen signed up.

Small Group is THIS SUNDAY at the church building at 5:30 p.m. Hope to see everyone there.

If your teen is interested in VBS, they (and you) can sign up on the various volunteer forms around the building. While some of our teens will head up the crews, we are wanting to disperse them amongst the various needs along with their families. There are tons of opportunities for decorating, planning and doing classes. Make sure you check them out.

Tonight we will be spending some time saying goodbye to Aniya Johnson, whom we have loved having in our group this school year. Hope to see everyone there! We will have a bible to gift her with and we would love to have you sign it and underline your favorite verse so make sure you stop by!

Hello all!
I hope your summer so far has been great (just a little longer Santa Rosa). We have some great things set up and we are excited to get things going. Our interns have hit the ground running and are doing a great job. Lots of information below, but it is all very important!!!

We revealed our summer theme this past Sunday. We are calling it "Marked". We are all marked by something. This summer, we will focus on what it is to be marked by Jesus. We will study the Beatitudes under the umbrella of Romans 12:1-2. As an added challenge, I am asking all Teens to memorize the Beatitudes this summer. As an additional challenge to this challenge, I am formally asking you, the parents of these students, to memorize the beatitudes right along with us!

Several of us are leaving Sunday morning for the Nashville Work Camp. We will take prayers for a safe trip and a great time of service and fun together!

There will be NO small group this Sunday evening. (June 3)
Small Group - June 10 @ 5:30 p.m. at the building.

Impact Junior & Senior - Later today a packing list and traveling logistics will be emailed out to those whose teens are going to IMPACT so you can begin preparing and planning for this amazing highlight. Jared will be here with us at this point, so your teens will get to spend some great time with him!

No Small Group - June 17
Small Group - June 24 - 5:30 @ the building.

Coffee and Contemplation Senior High Trip (9-12th Grade) (July 5-7)
Check out the Website below to see ALL of the information you need to know if you are wanting your teen to go on this amazing, relaxing mid summer pick me up trip. It will also be a great trip for our Senior High group to spend some quality time with Jared and get to know him!
You can also sign up from there or in the teen room.

Camp - Camper Applications ARE HERE! There are some in the teen room, there are some at the CONNECT station AND there are some AT THE WEBSITE LINKED BELOW along with some basic information about Camp. (4-12th Graders. $150.00 per camper)
Counselor applications are also available at the website if you are interested in counseling. More information about Camp will be released in two weeks to let everyone have a good idea of what they need to do. Deadline to sign up for Camp is July 1st.

Rain won't cancel the newly updated event BUT we will be monitoring the heaviness of the storm and will make a wise decision at the appropriate time. As of right now, we are on!

Hey all,
This is a change in plans for the Summer Kick off on Sunday, May 27th.
So with the storm system moving into the Gulf, the Hoard's are having to prepare their house (take the boat out of the water, move everything). They don't have the luxury of last minute decisions so they are going on and preparing for a storm.

As such, we are moving the Summer Kick off the the church building, rain or shine. We are having hotdogs and will play fox and hounds, zombies, maybe some nerf stuff (tell your teens to bring it if they have it) and just have a good time. I would like to invite a few of YOU guys to come and join me to help over see some of the games and hang out.

We are changing the time to start at 5:00 p.m. and it will go until 9:00 p.m.

I will send out some personal requests for drinks and desserts (I've got the dogs and main items).

We will probably do a back to school hang out with the Hoards in August so we can have our fun with them!

Swimming, paddle boarding, spike ball, Keepy Uppy, boat rides and more!

$5.00 for pizza per person
I will contact you to let you know if there is anything you can bring. We want to get a handle on numbers first as we tend to bring WAY TOO MUCH dessert (as if that is a thing).

Come and enjoy welcoming our INTERNS and our INCOMING 7th Graders!

Hello all!
I hope you have had a wonderful week. Just a reminder that Sunday is Senior Sunday and we will have a Potluck luncheon right after worship, so bring some food and stick around to support our Seniors! Also, if you are free tomorrow around 1:00ish, we will be setting up tables and doing some work in the Gym to prepare and we could use a few extra hands...again, only if you don't have anything going on!
Also, no Small Group this Sunday OR May 14 and May 20th.
As a quick note, this would be a great month with such a long break before summer to serve at the Gateway Community Outreach on May 19th that Kevin Bryant does a spectacular job of leading. It is from 10:30 to 12:30.
Take a breath, rest up and get ready for a great Summer 2018! See you tomorrow or Sunday!

Hey all!
What an amazing, jam packed weekend! I hope you enjoyed yourself and enjoyed getting to know Jared and Megan. What a great couple they were! Very exciting to spend time with them.

I have sent out emails to Senior parents AND Junior/Sophomore parents as to our scheduling this week/weekend for Senior Sunday.

We will be having a Potluck lunch directly following worship in the Family Life Center to honor all of our Seniors and I hope all of you make plans to cook some food and attend! It will be such a wonderful time for our Seniors. They will also be decorating their senior tables which they will leave up all month so we can shower them with gifts.

I ask that you be willing to stick around and help clean up afterwards on Sunday if possible. There will be NO small group.

Also, there will be NO small group on May 13th or the 20th either. Rest up, get your students through these last few weeks of school and we will get ready to hit the summer with both feet! So, for the duration of May, we will have NO major events or get togethers.

Our Summer Kick Off is May 27th at the Hoard's house and we will be emailing out details and what to bring for that annual event soon.
Nashville Work Camp folks! An email is going out TOMORROW with everything you need to know at this point!

Also, IMPACT money can be paid at any point from here until the end of May. Later this week I will send out another email with all of the updates on that event as well as some more summer plans!
