June Focus: SHARE - Multiplying Disciples
We've spent two months on LEARNING truth and WALKING in obedience. Now: SHARING—multiplying disciples by entrusting truth to others.
"What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also." - 2 Timothy 2:2
Count the generations:
1. Paul
2. Timothy
3. Faithful people
4. Others also
That's MULTIPLICATION, not just addition.
This month's question: Who are you intentionally discipling? Who are you entrusting truth to? Who is watching your life and imitating your faith?
DNA Challenge: Identify one person you'll intentionally disciple and set a date for your first meeting.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

Walking by the Spirit, Not the Flesh
"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." - Galatians 5:16
Walking by the Spirit means: ✝️ Starting each day asking for His help ✝️ Depending on Him moment by moment ✝️ Obeying His promptings ✝️ Confessing quickly when you fail
Walking by the flesh means: ❌ Relying on your own effort ❌ Ignoring the Spirit's conviction ❌ Following your sinful desires ❌ Hiding sin instead of confessing
This week: At the start of each day, pray "Spirit, empower my obedience today. I can't do this without You."
DNA Groups: Share one area where you're learning to walk by the Spirit this month.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

You Can't Walk in Your Own Strength
Here's the gospel truth about obedience:
"Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." - Philippians 2:12-13
Notice:
1. YOU work ("work out your salvation")
2. GOD works ("God works in you")
Obedience isn't: ❌ God does everything (passivity) ❌ You do everything (self-reliance)
It's: ✅ You work BECAUSE God works IN you
The Spirit empowers your obedience. You're not trying harder—you're trusting deeper.
DNA Question: Where are you trying to obey in your own strength? How does Philippians 2:13 change your approach?
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

Vivification: Cultivating Righteousness
Killing sin is only half the battle. You must also cultivate RIGHTEOUSNESS.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23
Don't just STOP doing evil. START doing good. Don't just avoid sin. Pursue holiness. Don't just mortify vice. Vivify virtue.
Which fruit of the Spirit is MOST evident in your life? Which is LEAST evident?
This week: Pick one fruit that's lacking and practice it intentionally every day.
DNA Question: What righteousness is God calling you to cultivate? How will you practice it this week?
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

Mortification: Killing Sin
"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." - Colossians 3:5
Mortification means putting sin to DEATH, not just managing it or trying harder.
How do you mortify sin? 🗡️ Starve it - Remove access and opportunity 🗡️ Expose it - Confess to others for accountability 🗡️ Replace it - Cultivate opposite righteousness 🗡️ Fight it - Through Scripture, prayer, and the Spirit
This week: What sin do you need to put to death? What concrete step will you take to mortify it?
DNA Groups: Confess one sin you're mortifying and ask for accountability.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

May Focus: WALK - Daily Obedience in Every Area
This month we shift from LEARNING truth to WALKING in it—practicing daily obedience in all areas of life.
"Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called." - Ephesians 4:1
WALK means: 🚶 Consistency - Not one-time obedience, but daily faithfulness 🚶 Progress - Moving forward, even if slowly 🚶 Direction - Heading toward Christ, not away
This month's focus: Where is there a gap between what you know and what you do? What sin needs to be mortified? What righteousness needs to be cultivated?
DNA Challenge: Identify one specific area of disobedience and commit to walking in obedience there this month.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

The Danger of Biblical Literacy Without Heart Change
You can know the Bible backwards and forwards and still have a hard heart.
The Pharisees: ✅ Memorized Scripture ✅ Studied diligently ✅ Knew theology ❌ Missed Jesus entirely
"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life." - John 5:39-40
The goal of learning isn't knowledge—it's KNOWING GOD.
DNA Question: Are you studying Scripture to know ABOUT God or to KNOW God? What's the difference look like in your life?
Don't settle for information. Pursue transformation.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

Are You a Hearer or a Doer?
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." - James 1:22
You can: ✅ Attend every sermon ✅ Read your Bible daily ✅ Take detailed notes ✅ Discuss theology with friends
And STILL be deceived if you're not a DOER.
The gap between what you KNOW and what you DO reveals what you truly believe.
This week in DNA: Where is there a gap between what you know from Scripture and how you're actually living? What truth do you know but aren't obeying?
Learning without doing is self-deception.
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

All Scripture is God-Breathed
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Notice what Scripture does: 📖 TEACHES - Shows us truth about God ✋ REPROVES - Exposes our sin ↩️ CORRECTS - Points us back to the right path 🏋️ TRAINS - Equips us for righteousness
The Bible isn't just information—it's TRANSFORMATION.
This week: Don't just read Scripture. Let it teach, reprove, correct, and train you.
DNA Question: What has Scripture been teaching/reproving/correcting/training in you lately?
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)

Welcome to Q2: INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP
For the next three months, we're focusing on INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP—formation into Christlikeness through truth, modeling, and witness.
APRIL - LEARN: Receiving truth from God's Word MAY - WALK: Practicing daily obedience JUNE - SHARE: Multiplying disciples
"What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also." - 2 Timothy 2:2
This month: LEARN. Are you growing in your knowledge of Scripture? Do you sit under teaching with humility? Are you studying to KNOW God or just to know ABOUT God?
DNA Challenge: Commit to a specific learning plan for the next 30 days. What will you study?
"And this we will do, if God permits." - Hebrews 6:3 (NASB)
