Unitarian Universalists of Pensacola

Unitarian Universalists of Pensacola Celebrate Diversity, Strive for Justice, Inspire Love. We’re a Welcoming Congregation. Unitarian Universalism has a rich history and a living faith.

The purpose of our page is to create a space where everyone can find out about what is going on at UUCP and see what Unitarian Universalism is about. Please share this page with your friends because the more "Likes" we get, the more people that will find us. If you’re searching for a religious home that is guided by a quest for truth and meaning, and not by a set creed or dogma, come join

us at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Pensacola (UUCP). Our roots are in Christianity and Judaism, and we draw inspiration from many sources including the wisdom of the world’s faith traditions, nature, science, and contemporary thought. Our mission is to Celebrate Diversity, Strive for Justice, and Inspire Love. We are a faith of deeds, not creeds, affirming the principles of caring and open-minded community. We are strongly committed to social justice. We believe people of different beliefs and backgrounds can come together in one beloved community through the values we share. We believe that families come in many forms, and all are welcome in our church. We are designated as a Welcoming Congregation, which means we strive for radical inclusion and for creating space that honors every part of our identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Our Sunday Services are held each week at 10:00 a.m., along with childcare for infants through kindergarten and a Religious Education program for children and youth. After the service, we offer a time for refreshments and fellowship. At 11:15 on many Sundays, we offer a Second Hour program, which can include religious exploration, history topics, current events and more in a small-group format. This page is a space where we share content directly related to UUCP and Unitarian Universalism. We welcome all people to contribute to conversations on this page through comments on posts. Sharing posts on your page or on relevant pages is also welcome and encouraged. Comments, photos, and other content posted on this page are expected to be relevant and respectful. As everyone gathers for service this morning, we have a question worth reflecting on. Every freedom you have inherited was won by people who did not live to enjoy it. What are you leaving for the ones who come after?

A gift of any size, named in your will, helps sustain UUSC's human rights work long past our own chapter. Learn more this National Make-A-Will Month at plannedgiving.uusc.org.
