Day 1: The Call to Justice, Mercy, and Humility
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1D6IWhfOLZA

The prophet Micah presents a profound call to action, urging us to embody the very heart of God. This involves actively pursuing justice, which means upholding what is right and treating everyone with fairness, and also righting wrongs and protecting the vulnerable. Alongside this, we are called to love kindness and mercy, recognizing that true righteousness embraces compassion and forgiveness. These two aspects are not separate but intertwined, forming the foundation of a life that reflects God's character. [34:36]

Micah 6:8
ESV: "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Reflection: In what specific situations this week might you be called to "do justice" or "love kindness," and how can you approach these moments with a humble heart?

Day 2: Experiencing the Goodness and Refreshment of Spiritual Unity
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKy8OqjvpC4
There is a unique sweetness and beauty found when God’s people dwell together in harmony. This unity is compared to precious oil, symbolizing an openness to the movement of the Holy Spirit. When we set aside our differences to worship with one heart, we often find the Spirit moving with unexpected power. Division robs us of these blessings and prevents us from experiencing the fullness of God’s presence. Choosing to pursue peace allows us to taste the "good and pleasant" life God intends for His family. [30:37]

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! (Psalm 133:1-2)

Reflection: Can you recall a time when you felt a deep sense of peace and connection while praying or serving with other believers? What was it about that moment that made God’s presence feel more tangible?

Day 4: Embracing Your Calling to Become a Saint
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-mP7FtQUU&t=238s

God’s plan for your life extends far beyond simple redemption from guilt; he desires to transform you from the inside out. Just as Jesus looked at Simon and declared him to be Peter, the Rock, he speaks a promise of greatness over your life. This greatness is not measured by worldly wealth or fame, but by growth in virtue, holiness, and love. You are sanctified in Christ and called to be a saint, a person whose life is filled with the Holy Spirit. Though the process takes time, the Spirit is faithful to bring you into the fullness of who you were meant to be. [43:56]

"To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours." (1 Corinthians 1:2 ESV)

Reflection: When you think about the person God is calling you to become, what is one character trait or virtue you sense Him inviting you to cultivate right now?

Day 3: Finding Our Home by Abiding in Christ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-mP7FtQUU&t=100s

To stay with Jesus is to do more than visit; it is to abide and find your permanent dwelling place in his presence. This abiding is a deep communion where his life begins to flow through you like a vine into its branches. In the midst of a world that often feels like a desert, his presence offers the vitality and holiness your spirit craves. Through the word and the sacraments, you are invited to feast on his grace and find rest for your soul. When you remain in him, your life begins to bear fruit that reflects his goodness and love. [40:53]

"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 ESV)

Reflection: What spiritual practice—such as prayer, scripture reading, or silence—could you adopt this week to create more space to recognize God's presence in your home?

Day 2: The Invitation to Come and See
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-mP7FtQUU&t=7s

When the disciples asked where Jesus was staying, he did not provide a complex theological lecture or a map. Instead, he offered a simple and gracious invitation: "Come and you will see." This call suggests that the life of faith is not something to be analyzed from a distance, but something to be experienced through walking alongside him. As you take steps of faithfulness, the mysteries of his grace begin to unfold in practical ways. You are invited to observe how he works, how he loves, and how he brings light into the dark corners of the world. By simply showing up and being present with him, you begin to find the answers to your heart's deepest questions. [41:11]

"He said to them, 'Come and you will see.' So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour." (John 1:39)

Reflection: Is there a specific step of faith—perhaps joining a small group, reaching out to a neighbor, or starting a new prayer habit—that you’ve been considering but haven't yet acted upon?

Day 1: Seeking the True Desires of the Heart
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-mP7FtQUU

We often move through life without pausing to consider what we are fundamentally after. Jesus begins his public ministry in the Gospel of John not with a sermon, but with a piercing question: "What are you seeking?" This question invites you to look beneath the surface of your daily routines and distractions. It challenges you to identify whether you are searching for healing, wisdom, or perhaps a sense of right order in your life. When we seek only after ourselves, we find our lives becoming increasingly confined and small. However, acknowledging our deepest needs opens the door for a transformative encounter with the one who knows us best. [36:17]

"Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, 'What are you seeking?' And they said to him, 'Rabbi' (which means Teacher), 'where are you staying?'" (John 1:38)

Reflection: When you look at the pace and pressure of your current week, what is the primary thing you are hoping to find or achieve, and how might Jesus be offering you something deeper?

Day 5: Daily Living in God's Delighted Covenant.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sksJqu_qAiI&t=660s

Baptism initiates us into a covenant relationship with God, a relationship founded on His unwavering promises. Just as marriage vows call for an ongoing response, so too does our covenant with God require us to shape our lives daily in light of His faithfulness. When the Father looks upon us, united to Christ, He sees His beloved child and declares, "With you, I am delighted." These promises are not just for a select few, but are specifically for you, inviting you to live each day in the assurance of His love and delight. [42:59]

Galatians 3:26-27 (ESV)
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Reflection: How might consciously remembering God's delight in you, as His beloved child, transform your perspective and choices in a challenging situation you are currently facing?

Day 4: Christ's Solidarity Clothes Us in Righteousness.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sksJqu_qAiI&t=657s

Jesus' baptism, though He was without sin, was a profound act of solidarity with humanity. He came to stand among sinners, identifying with our brokenness, not because He needed repentance, but to fulfill all righteousness. Through this mysterious act, God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for our sake, so that in Him, we might become the righteousness of God. When we are baptized into Christ, we are clothed with His righteous identity, trading our "filthy rags" for His royal robe. [37:31]

2 Corinthians 5:21 (ESV)
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Reflection: In what specific area of your life do you most need to remember that you are clothed in Christ's righteousness, rather than relying on your own efforts or feeling defined by your past failures?

Day 3: Jesus Revealed as Beloved Son and Servant.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sksJqu_qAiI

At Jesus' baptism, a pivotal moment of revelation occurred, unveiling His true identity. The Holy Spirit descended upon Him, and the Father's voice declared, "This is my Son, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased." This moment echoed ancient prophecies from Isaiah, identifying Jesus as the chosen servant who would bring justice, healing, and light to the nations. From the very beginning of His public ministry, His path as both beloved Son and suffering servant was made clear. [33:11]

Isaiah 42:1-3 (ESV)
Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.

Reflection: How does understanding Jesus as both the Father's beloved Son and the gentle, suffering servant deepen your trust in His character and His work in your own life?
