Assalsmu Alaikum, happy Ramadan to Everyone.
today, Wed. is Shaban 30th. and first Taraweeh prayer after Isha In Sha Allah.
therefore the first day of Ramadan and fasting will take place on Thursday March 23.
our program at the Masjid will be like the following:
1- we will have Iftar every day at the Masjid in sha Allah. At Johnson Ave.
2- weekends are booked for some families to bring food, all weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
3- the only Friday that had been booked for donators is on April 14
which is Ramadan 23. the other three Fridays are still open for who want to adopt Iftar.
4- Every Monday till Friday are going to be as a potluck. unless if there any change I will inform you in Taraweeh and Friday announcement.
5- Taraweeh prayer will start today Wed. after Isha prayer at 8:30 pm. so, Isha Iqama starts 8:30 pm for the first week in sha Allah, if there is any change after that I will notify you.
6- this Ramadan we have different Hafiz they will join us during Taraweeh in sha Allah.
7- I hope you encourage youth to prepare a short Hadith, verse of the Quran or short story at Taraweeh prayer.
8- sisters and children are allowed, but any sister with her children should go to pray at the community building not at the hall of the Masjid to prevent noise and interruption.
9- we need to work together as brothers and sisters to keep the building and the Masjid clean everyday after Iftar before Isha prayer.
10- please, everyone should remove his trash, clean his table and put his chair on the chair hanger, and please help us to put the trash in the dumpster
11- the Imam, and hidden brother and sisters are working hard to make Ramadan better every year, may Allah reward you and them all. so I hope you join us Iftar and Taraweeh every day to have the blessing of Allah.
