Today, we celebrate both an ending and a new beginning. After years of faithful service, Pastor Henry Lewis has retired and is stepping into a well-deserved season of rest (and fishing). We are incredibly grateful for the love, leadership, and dedication poured into our church family over the years. 💛

At the same time, we are filled with hope and joy as we welcome Pastor Adam Smith to lead us into this next chapter. We look forward to growing together in faith under your guidance.

Please help us in welcoming the Smith Family with prayers and support as they start this new journey for God.

After 54 years of serving our Lord, Brother Henry Lewis is retiring from pastoral service at Community Baptist Church. To know him is to love him. If you’ve ever encountered Brother Lewis in your life you know he’s always put God first and served Him in ways most of us strive to achieve. We welcome you to join us July 13. Service will start at 10 and Pastor Lewis will preach his last sermon as Pastor at Community Baptist Church. Come join us in celebrating all he has done for his church, his people, and his Lord.

Hi there, I started a GoFundMe fundraiser for Help CBC Raise the Roof (funds)!. I would really appreciate if you can help share this fundraiser.

"We are asking for anyone that knows or has come into contact with Henry Lewis or his church to help us in this goal for a new roof. We are proud of our church and the work it’s been able to faithfully accomplish over the last 50 years. Our membership is low, but we haven’t given up. Please support and pray for us during the next year as we strive to bring this goal to fruition and to keep our church encouraged. The scripture keeps us encouraged as it reminds us that with God all things are possible."

Today we celebrated the dedication and loyalty of Pastor Lewis and Sister Clara for 50 years. To say they are a blessing to Community Baptist Church is an understatement. We are forever grateful to have such helpful and Godly leaders preaching Gods word. Thank you for your faithful service!
