This really spoke volumes to me today, so I wanted to share. This quote refers to life in general, but we need to look at it spiritually.
We need to welcome the Lord with open arms and a determined spirit to serve and follow him. Our life is a journey for which only God knows the destination. It doesn't matter how fast we get to the place where God wants us, but that we get there. Along the way, we face many storms and doubts, not only in ourselves but in the circumstances that surround us. If we keep our faith in that solid rock of Jesus, we will be able to rise above everything that is thrown at us. The trials and difficulties of life are unavoidable parts of the human experience. This offers opportunities for growth, resilience, and a deeper connection with oneself and God. We were called to be a light unto the world. There is no better way to do so than to show kindness and the love of God in all you do. It is our time as children of God to bloom and shine bright. Rely on the strength that God has given you and continue to draw closer to him through reading his word and time spent in prayer. We will be stronger in faith, wiser in his word, and more resilient to the attacks that we face. It is our time to rise up and change the world and spread the Gospel and love of Jesus!
