St Mark's had a chance to honor eight of its high school and college. graduates this morning during worship. Aden, Andrea, Avalyn, Christopher, Logan, Nick, Payton, and Trent were invited to worship and a reception in their honor. Cards of well wishes were signed by everyone and presented to them.
Pastor asked those who were able to attend what they had learned over the years. Their answers were incredible. Catch their responses when you watch the video of the service.

St Mark's joyfully celebrated Pentecost on Sunday May 24th. Peyton and her family were treated to a special confirmation breakfast prepared by Jill. During the service she affirmed her Baptism in the Rite of Confirmation.
We were honored to have SEPa Synod Bishop Bryan Penman visit with us for worship and participate in Peyton's confirmation.
To add to the festivities, we had our "dove" flying overhead for the gathering hymn, our choir signing "Ancient Words" and members of the congregation simultaneously reading a portion of the Pentecost lesson from Acts in French, Spanish, German, and Italian.
You could almost feel as if we were there in Jerusalem on that Pentecost Day as each person in that international crowd heard the Good News of Jesus spoken in their native tongue. ❤️✝️

Youth Outreach thanks everyone who helped make our Mother's Day Tea a huge success. Almost 60 women of all ages enjoyed an evening of tea, food, fellowship, and music.
Proceeds benefited Youth Outreach programming and our Team Lenny's Light ALS Walk. Special thanks to Gianna Nastasi who provided music for the evening, to our teen and adult helpers, and to Andrea and Heather Schmitt who organized it all. ☺️

Members of the Upper Perk High School 'A Choir' blessed St Mark's this morning during worship. What incredible men and women using their voices to praise God, and lift our souls! Thank you!
You are truly a gift, not only to this community, but to all God's people. It was no surprise that we gave you a standing ovation.
We were additionally blessed to learn that Dr Mark Thomas had accepted the position of Director of Music at St Mark's, AND that Aden Riggleman has been taking lessons to become our organist.
Pastor Sellers presented Dr Thomas with flowers, and the congregation responded with another standing ovation.
To quote a song title, "My Lord, What a Morning!" ❤️✝️

St Mark’s Youth Outreach enjoyed an awesome retreat April 24-26 at Camp Men-O-Lan in nearby Milford Township.
Led by our DCE Jeanine Roth and Pastor Serena, eleven youth along with David Lintvedt, Connie Taglieber, Heather Schmitt, and Paul Bartlett learned about mending the brokenness in the world, our selves and our relationships.
Holding painted prayers rocks, we prayed for some of our members in need, and signed cards for each.
Heather spoke to us about upcoming youth activities including the May 4 Tea. While also teaching us musical table graces, to use before each meal. The food, prepared by the camp’s incredible cook Cora, was always delicious and filling.
We viewed and discussed the movie, Bruce Almighty, where the lead complains that God isn’t fair to him, until he his given the Lord’s responsibilities. At first he only uses them selfishly, until he realizes there is more more to life and God's love for all people.
David led evening devotions Friday and Saturday, while Paul presided at a communion service on Sunday.
Even with it all that, and the rain on Saturday, there was time for a bonfire with s’mores, games (indoor and outdoor), and snacks!
