Join us at Pennsauken UMC during Holy Week as we gather to remember, worship, and celebrate the love of Christ.

On Maundy Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 PM, we will come together for a meaningful evening of worship as we remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples and his command to love one another.

Then on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 9:30 AM, we will celebrate the resurrection of Christ with joy and hope. Come and worship with us as we proclaim the good news that death does not have the final word.

All are welcome. We would love to worship with you this Holy Week.

Pennsauken UMC family and friends, we are starting a new Lenten sermon series this Sunday called It Is Not Too Late.

With a big snow expected tomorrow, I have to admit I felt a little nervous. Over the past few months, we have had Sundays where snow pushed us online only, and I wondered if it would happen again. I am grateful that today we can gather in person and worship together. Thank you for coming, and thank you for making worship a priority.

During Lent, we will ask a simple question each week. What is not too late for. What can God still begin in us. What choices can we make, again and again, that lead toward life.

Sermon: “A Sent Community” (1 Corinthians 1:10–18)
Christ sends us to share the gospel not with impressive words, but with the power of the cross (1 Cor. 1:17–18). We are not called to be perfect debaters—we are called to be faithful witnesses. This week, release the pressure to have every answer and simply show up with humility, love, and one honest sentence: “I don’t have it all figured out, but I can tell you why I believe.” Church, we are not only gathered—we are sent.

As we approach the final week of Advent, we are invited to make room in hope.

🕯️ Sunday, December 21 at 9:30 AMJoin us for Week 4 of our “Sanctuary” series, as we reflect on how God creates space for hope even when life feels uncertain. In a weary world, Christ comes not only to comfort—but to renew and restore. There is room for hope. There is room for you.

✨ Then on Wednesday, December 24 at 6:00 PM, come celebrate the beauty of the season at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. With music, Scripture, and soft candlelight, we’ll pause to remember that even in the chaos of the world, God is with us. Emmanuel has come, and the light still shines. Come and experience warmth, wonder, and the gift of sacred presence.

“There was no room at the inn…”This Advent, we remember the holy disruption of Christ’s birth—a moment when God made room where there was none. In a world that often feels overcrowded, noisy, and closed off, Jesus comes to make room for peace, hope, joy, and love. Over the next few weeks, we’ll explore what it means to find and create sanctuary in unexpected places.
