Are you walking worthy of the Lord ? If you are certain characteristics will manifest themselves in your life. We read these words in(Ephesians 4:1,2), "I therefore the prisoner of the Lord, beseech thee that thou walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.(2)With all lowliness, and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing, one another in love"...In these two verses we see that the Christian must be humble, harmless, and hard.He must walk in the love of God, which will make him humble and harmless. And because he is walking in the love of God, he does not change, when he in turn is hurt by others. That is, he endures "hardness," as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

When you walk up in the morning make sure the first words out of your mouth are words of praise. Make sure you thank him for everything, before you ask him for anything. Our God knows what we stand in need of, before we ask him, and he has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory, ( Philippians 4:19). Remember to always thank him for what he is already doing, before you ask him for more.

While we, who follow the Lord Jesus Christ are called to live holy lives, ( Thessalonians 4:7),we must always remember that we are never saved because of our own righteousness, but through the righteousness of God of God, which is by faith in Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:9).These words were spoken by the Apostle Paul,, who said that he could not stand in his own righteousness, but could only stand in the finished work, and righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We read these great words in ( 2 Corinthians 5:21)" He hath may him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"...We should thank God everyday for giving us his son, to bear the penalty for all our sins, because of his undying love.

When it comes to receiving from God, we have the assurance and promise of our Lord Jesus Christ that God does hear, and he does answer prayer. We read these words in the book of (Matthew 7:7)"Ask and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find ; knock and it shall be opened unto you"...here our Lord while walking the earth, encouraged all followers to come to God in prayer. However he said not only to come to him in prayer; the tense of the verbs were continually active: that is he was saying to "keep on" asking, "keep on"seeking, and "keep on" knocking until you receive an answer from God. He loves to hear and answer the prayers of his children, and rewards us when we "diligently"seek him( Hebrews 11:6). To diligently seek him means to persevere in prayer. It means to seek his face until you get an answer from him. Come boldly to the throne of grace, and let him know your every cry. Our God, is the only true God, and he "hears" and "answers" prayer.

One of the great demonstrations of the Lord's deity, was when he was on the boat with his disciples in a severe storm, and he commanded the wind and the waves to be still( Mark 4:39). However, there was a greater demonstration spoken and performed later by our Lord in the book of (John 2:19)" Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again"...Our Lord spoke these words, while he was on earth, living in his human body. He let his enemies know that he was more than a man, he was the son of God, and had power to lay down his life, and power to take it up again. He said that this was a commandment that he had received from his Father, which he was willing to obey, and God the Father, gave him power from above. Likewise, we who are the children of God are given power to carry out our Lord's commands when we read them in his Holy Word, and are willing to act on them in faith, from an obedient heart.

When it comes to receiving the blessings of God, always remember that you are his child, and he commands you in his Word to come boldly to the throne of grace, so you can find help in a time of need. There is a throne in heaven, and God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, sit on that throne, and respond to you when you ask in faith, and do not doubt with your carnal mind, which is always full of doubt, and cannot receive from God. You must cast down the negative thoughts, that come naturally through your flesh, and think and claim what the Word of God says.God says in his Word, that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he( Proverbs 23:7). When you doubt, and become double minded, it has an effect on your faith. When you spend time in fasting and prayer, it will help you to have the victory over your natural carnal mind, and use your spiritual mind to claim the things of God. That is why he said in (Luke 11.9) "Ask, and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened"... You have the authority in Jesus Christ, to claim the victory, over the world, the flesh, and the devil.

If you want to have good vision in the natural realm you must eat foods that strengthen your eyes, and you still may have to wear corrective glasses. But when it comes to having good spiritual vision, and seeing the things that are revealed in the kingdom of God, in his Word, is talking about your spiritual vision, or the eyes of your understanding, or the mind. That is why the Lord said these words to Nicodemus, the Pharisees who came to him by night in (John 3:3)" Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"...when we become saved we then can see, or understand the spiritual things of God, and the eyes of our understanding, or our minds begin to grow, as we learn the Word of God and apply that word to our lives. The eyes of our understanding, being enlightened, that we might know what is the hope of our calling in Jesus Christ.( Ephesians 1:18).
