The River Church Penns Grove

The River Church Penns Grove The River is a community loving Church that reaches everyone and loves everyone as Christ first loved us. Penns Grove, NJ 08069.

The River fellowship began at 62 Riviera Drive in Pennsville NJ in 2004. Pastor Eric Zeidler was serving as an evangelist in Romania along with members from another church fellowship from Delaware. During that time, many people from the Pennsville area where praying for God to move and open a door for a new church to be planted in Salem County. Pastor Zeidler had already planted two churches there

- one is still operating in Penns Grove; a hispanic church called Fuente De Amor. God did in fact open the door and the new fellowship started. Work was done on the building and people started to come. SInce that time, the church moved to the Social Hall of Queen of Apostles Church and then to the Kings Depot before moving into it's current facility at 222 South Broad St.
