There are a lot of great organizations collecting winter attire in Yates County, so we wanted to share where you can drop off new and gently-used items.

🧦 The Well is collecting new and/or gently used winter hats, mittens, gloves, socks, and blankets to hand out at StarShine, Christmas in Rushville, and to anyone who visits our office. Donations will be accepted throughout the winter months.

🧤 Care Net is collecting new and/or gently used winter coats, hats, and mittens of all sizes to donate to the Yates Christmas Program. Donations will be accepted until December 7th.

🧣 Mozaic is collecting new and/or gently used winter clothing and accessories (coats, jackets, boots, scarves, mittens, and more) of all sizes for their Free Winter Clothing Day in Cayuga County and any remaining donations will be distributed locally. Donations will be accepted from October 19 through November 2.

No matter where you donate, your winter items will keep someone warm. ❄️

We thank our friends at Mozaic for serving our Grab N’ Go lunches today! Not only do they serve meals, they make the lunches from time to time! That’s not all! They shop for our meal kits and put them together. Not to mention they also take our bottle and can returns back for us too! This crew is so helpful and important to The Well every week! We enjoy their energy and desire to make our community a great place!
