๐ŸŽฎ Youth Councils 2026 โ€“ Final Day ๐ŸŽฎ

๐Ÿ† Mission Complete. New Journey Unlocked. ๐Ÿ†

As we look back on an incredible Youth Councils weekend at Long Point Camp, we're grateful for every moment of worship, fellowship, learning, and growth.

The challenge to Level Up doesn't end when the weekend is over. Philippians 3:14 reminds us:

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our prayer is that Empire Youth left encouraged to keep pursuing Christ, trusting His plan, and continuing to level up in their faith every day.

The weekend may be over, but the journey continues. ๐Ÿ’œโฌ†๏ธ

๐ŸŽฎ Youth Councils 2026 โ€“ Day 2 ๐ŸŽฎ

Level Up in progress! โฌ†๏ธ

Day 2 was packed with worship, laughter, friendship, and opportunities to grow deeper in faith. Throughout the weekend, everyone at Youth Councils was reminded that following Christ is a lifelong journey of growth, trust, and perseverance.

Thereโ€™s something special about setting aside time to be together, to grow, and to refocus our hearts. ๐Ÿ’œ As the theme reminds us to "Level Up," we're encouraged to keep pressing forwardโ€”letting go of what's behind and leaning into all that God has ahead. ๐Ÿ™Œ

New memories were made, faith was strengthened, and God continued to move in powerful ways.

๐ŸŽฎ Youth Councils 2026 โ€“ Day 1 ๐ŸŽฎ

The game has begun! โฌ†๏ธ

Youth Councils began at Long Point Camp for a weekend centered around one challenge: Level Up. Through worship, fellowship, and powerful messages, young people were encouraged to keep moving forward in their faith and pursue all that God has planned for them.

As Philippians 3:12-14 reminds us, we're called to press on toward the goalโ€”not staying where we are, but growing into who God created us to be. ๐Ÿ’œ

Day 1 was all about logging in, connecting with one another, and preparing our hearts for the journey ahead.

IT'S ALMOST TIME TO LEVEL UP!

Youth Councils is just around the corner, and we could not be more excited! This year's theme, LEVEL UP, is inspired by Philippians 3:12-14:

"I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

No matter where you are on your walk with God, Youth Councils is your invitation to take the next step. Come expecting God to do something incredible in your life!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Aleacia Makeley!

Aleacia filled multiple roles last summer, and recently we asked her a few questions about her time at LPC.

Here's what she had to say:

Q: What made you decide to work at LPC this summer?
A: To draw closer to God while also bringing children to God. To get experience working with children, and to see the beauty camp brings.

Q: If someone asked you why they should work at LPC, what would you tell them?
A: They should work at LPC because it's a place to learn life skills, communication skills, how to work with children as well as have fun and become family from all across the world.

Q: Finish this statement: "I thought this would be a summer job but it turned into..."
A: My home away from home!

Always eager to help where needed, Aleacia was a huge asset to camp, making sure everyone, from campers to staff kids, felt welcomed and loved. We're so thankful for her ministry at camp!

Join us today in celebrating Aleacia and all that she's done for camp!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Arianna Vance!

Arianna was one of our female counselors this past year, and recently we asked her a few questions about her time at LPC.

Here's what she had to say:

Q: What made you decide to work at LPC?
A: I decided to go back to LPC last summer and it was the best decision ever! I love everything that camp involves and it is just such a special place. The relationships you make with the campers and the impact you have on them is so amazing to see! You are in such a beautiful location on the lake and just surrounded by the best people all the time (bonus you get a good tan!)

Q: If someone asked you why they should work at LPC, what would you tell them?
A: It is the most amazing place. You make the best friends from all over the world and I promise, even though some days can be hard, camp is the most rewarding experience ever! You will love every second and find yourself wanting to go back again and again!

Q: Finish this statement: "I thought this would be a summer job but it turned into..."
A: The best couple of months!

Arianna made all of her campers feel like they were right at home and showed them how to have fun and endure whatever camp threw their way! We met Arianna through Camp America two years ago and are so thankful for all of the good work she's done for our campers.

Join us today in celebrating Arianna and the impact she's had on LPC! (If you've not had the chance to meet Arianna, she is the counselor on the right!)
