"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." — Psalm 119:105 🕯️

As our family studied this week's Come, Follow Me lesson in Psalms, a few verses really stood out to me.

In Psalm 139, the psalmist reminds us that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know every detail of our lives—our thoughts, our joys, our struggles, and our hearts. We are never truly alone, hidden, or forgotten.

Psalm 119:105 also reminds us that the scriptures don't always light up the whole highway miles ahead—they act like a lamp to our feet.

They give us just enough light for the very next step. When life feels overwhelming or uncertain, focusing on the simple, daily spiritual habits—prayer, scripture study, and mini moments of gratitude—is often all the light we need to keep moving forward in faith.

I’m so grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who knows us personally and guides our path step by step.

What was your favorite takeaway or verse from this week’s reading? I’d love to hear in the comments! 👇🤍

As we dive into Psalms this week, my heart is so full of gratitude for the reminder that Heavenly Father hears every single prayer and knows us intimately.

No matter what trials or quiet burdens you might be carrying right now, please know you are never alone and that His tender mercies are always within reach.

"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live." — Psalm 116:1–2

"I testify that the Man who suffered for mankind, who committed His life to healing the sick and comforting the disconsolate, is mindful of your sufferings, doubts, and heartaches." — Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Wishing everyone a week filled with peace, hope, and the light of the Savior's love!

Happy Monday, everyone! ✨

As we step into a brand new week, it's so helpful to remember that our Heavenly Father doesn't measure our success by how much we accomplish, but by how much love we share along the way. Small, quiet acts of kindness can completely change the trajectory of someone's day—and often, our own as well.

Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin once reminded us that "kindness is the essence of a celestial life." Today, let's look for a chance to be the answer to someone else's prayer.

A quick text to check in on a friend, an extra bit of patience with our children, or a warm smile to a stranger can bring the Savior’s light into a world that needs it so deeply.

Whatever this week brings your way, remember how deeply loved you are. Take a deep breath, lean on your faith, and let's make this week a little brighter for everyone around us.

Have a blessed and wonderful week! 🤍

Thousands of years later, the Ten Commandments remain the ultimate guide for a peaceful, joyful, and faith-filled life. 📜✨

Given to Moses on Mount Sinai, these sacred laws aren't just a list of rules—they are a loving blueprint from our Heavenly Father, designed to protect our hearts, strengthen our families, and keep us close to Him.

Two Core Foundations:

Loving God First: The first four commandments teach us how to honor our Relationship with God—keeping Him at the center of our lives, keeping the Sabbath day holy, and holding His name sacred.
Loving Our Neighbors:

The remaining six guide how we treat others—honoring our parents, living with honesty and integrity, and building a community rooted in respect, kindness, and love.

When life gets noisy and full of distractions, turning back to these ten foundational truths brings clarity, safety, and peace.

The family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children. 🤍✨

"The Family: A Proclamation to the World" was presented over 30 years ago, but its truths ring even clearer today. While issued by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, its core principles offer a timeless blueprint for every Christian family seeking to build a Christ-centered home.

Core Truths & Lessons to Live By:
Divine Identity: Marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God, and each person possesses a divine nature and purpose.

Sacred Responsibility: Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, providing for both their physical and spiritual needs.

Building on Truth: Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.

Protecting the Sanctuary: The home is intended to be a sanctuary of safety, peace, and mutual defense against life's challenges.

Living by these principles takes daily effort, grace, and lots of prayer, but the peace it brings into a home is beyond measure.

How has applying these Christ-centered family values blessed your home? Drop a thought below
