We're in the Akron Area Interfaith Council newsletter!

"Special thanks to Bethany Church and Peninsula United Methodist, who helped to cook for the Projecto Raices middle school summer camp. It was so moving to see the communication between the kids and the helpers."

Also thanks to all those who helped pick up and deliver kids to and from the camp."

Join the AAIC Summer Potluck and connect with the broader community over food, refreshments, and good company! Bring a dish or dessert to share if you can. Everyone is welcome, even if you can’t! The potluck will take the place of the AAIC July meeting.

Circle July 28 on your calendars. That's when we'll do our annual Staycation mission field trip.

We'll be working with our friends at Snow Angels again!

The Easter Egg Hunt will go on...rain, snow, or balloon tornado!

If we get that balloon tornado (or rain or snow), we'll just move everything, including the egg hunt, inside! So, come on down!

I usually just post "news and update" type items but we are a United Methodist Church and we all (as well as our neighbors) will benefit from listening to this powerful and important sermon by UMC Bishop LaTrelle Easterling. It's "must see"!

Bishop Latrelle Easterling's sermon at the Faithful Resistance public witness for immigrant justice.

Support Family Promise!

The kids at Woodridge Senior High are stepping up to the plate, putting on the 12th Annual Empty Bowl shindig in support of our partner, Family Promise.

Let's turn out this Friday and show 'em we care!

Our little church looked great under a full moon last night!

Thanks to everyone who came to visit us.

Thanks, also, to the carolers from Woodridge High School who joined us for pizza, cookies, and hot chocolate!

Check out this great write-up of what our youth are up to!

Our own Heather and Hunter played a big part in this!
