It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear sister and mission team member, Sheila Ramsey, who went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Sheila faithfully served God for many years, giving of herself for her church, her community and Appalachian Ministries of The Carolinas. She loved her family, her church, her friends and above all, the Lord.

Sheila touched many lives with her faithful heart, kind spirit and willingness to always help others. She was a blessing to us and was faithful to the mission and served in any position asked of her.

We will always love and miss you Sheila.
Rest with Jesus, we will meet again.

Please keep her family and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.

Service arrangements will be announced as soon as they become available.

We had a GREAT day today at Crystal Springs Pond. Gospel singing, hot dog plates, raffle and FISHING. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated, gave of their time, bought items or stopped by to say hello.

God greatly blessed our day of fun, fellowship and fundraising.

First and foremost we thank God for blessing Appalachian Ministries of The Carolinas. He allows us to be able to supply the needs of those needing assistance.

We are thankful there were supplies available to donate to the two local warming shelters in our communities. We appreciate them for taking on this important role and providing a warm place during the extreme cold weather.

The Blessing Box at 107 S Circle Dr Piedmont helps alleviate hungry. It is filled with food from the mission and other kind hearted people in our community. Our team also makes food boxes ready for pick up on a as need basis. And once a month food is supplied to be given away at a food truck in Piedmont.

Delbert Hart and I thank our volunteers and partners for your continued support as you help Appalachian Ministries of The Carolinas continue to meet these needs.

We had a great day Saturday 11/8/25 in Pelzer SC. We served over 400 people with coats, clothes, items of warmth, toys, free meal, food boxes, Bibles and blankets.
