Sunday was powerful from the very beginning the praise and worship was so strong, you could feel the presence of God moving in the room. Hearts were open, hands were lifted, and faith was stirred. There’s something so powerful about coming together and worshiping before the Lord because praise prepares the atmosphere for breakthrough.
And that led right into a timely word from Pastor George Moore:
Don’t Give Up
We went to Acts 16:16–34, where Paul and Silas were beaten, chained, and thrown into prison. But instead of giving up, they chose to pray and sing praises to God at midnight.
In the middle of their struggle… in the middle of their pain… they worshiped anyway.
And then suddenly
God showed up.
The ground shook.
Chains broke.
Doors opened.
Their praise didn’t wait for freedom… their praise helped bring it.
Just like the Word reminds us:
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1)
When we stay close to God even in hard seasons He covers us, protects us, and moves on our behalf.
And Jesus Himself reassures us in John 14:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
You are not alone in your midnight moment.
The Call to Our Hearts
Over and over, we heard it:
“Don’t give up.”
When life gets hard… don’t quit.
When prayers seem unanswered… don’t stop praying.
When you feel discouraged… don’t stop praising.
Because:
“All you’ve got to do is believe upon Him, and all things are possible.”
“The Holy Ghost is more powerful than the devil.”
The victory has already been secured through Jesus we just need to stand in faith and keep moving forward.
We were reminded through stories like Joseph in Genesis and David facing Goliath in 1 Samuel that perseverance matters. God is faithful through every season, even when it feels long or impossible.
We also heard powerful testimonies of healing, miracles, and God’s faithfulness over time reminding us that God is still moving today.
Church family, God is still breaking chains. He is still opening doors. And He is not finished with your story.
Don’t give up.
