Calvary Coffee Break - Pella

Calvary Coffee Break - Pella Coffee Break is a women’s Bible Discovery group. We meet weekly to study the Bible and fellowship with other women. A nursery is provided for young ones.

All study materials are provided and no previous knowledge of the Bible is necessary. There are free programs for children ages 0-6. Calvary Morning Coffee Break meets on Tuesdays from 9:45-11:15. There are free programs for children as follows:
Nursery: 0-2 year olds
Little Lambs: 2-3 year olds
Story Hour: 3-6 year olds

Calvary Evening Coffee Break meets in Mondays from 5:45-7:15. We will start

each Monday evening at 5:45 with supper, followed by Bible study for ladies. Kids will also have supper, followed by a time of singing, a Bible story and a craft. We will dismiss by 7:15.

We will launch the new year of Coffee Break with a study focused on Women of the Old Testament, starting on Tuesday, January 6. 📖
Please join us for fellowship at 9:45 and the small group lesson at 10:00.

Just a reminder that we do not meet for Coffee Break this week. When we return on Tues, Dec 2, we will discuss the last 2 lessons in our Jonah, Joel and Amos book (Five Visions Parts I & II).

Praying we all have a blessed Thanksgiving week, with a chance to reflect on what we have to be thankful for. From Amos 4:13, I am thankful for our God, who forms the fields and breaths life into all living creatures, who controls the seasons.

It sounds like our fall season is going to come to an end this week! Stay warm and filled with good food!

Hi ladies!

There will be a funeral at Calvary this coming Tuesday morning, March 25 during Coffee Break. We have made a few changes so that we do not intrude on the family as they gather.

Story Hour and Little Lambs will meet in the Youth House. This is the small white house across the parking lot to the west.

Nursery will be in their regular location.

We will have coffeetime in room 107-across the hall from our small group meeting rooms.

Please use only the west entrances. Unless you are going to the nursery, please use the southwest door. This is the door that is closest to the rooms where our small groups meet. If you are dropping your child off at the nursery, please use the northwest door. This is the one right next to the nursery. Then exit out of that door and reenter using the southwest door.

Thank you for respecting the family as they gather. If you have any questions, feel free to contact your group leader.

With the cold weather local school delay, Calvary Coffee Break will not meet Tuesday, Feb 18. 🥶

With this frigid 🥶 weather, before you bundle up and head out on Tuesday morning, remember to check for a local school delay or cancellation. KNIA radio or website is a good source. If there is a delay or cancellation, we will not meet.

We look forward to seeing you all again in this new year! Tomorrow morning, January 7, we meet again with coffee and fellowship at 9:45, followed by small group study. We will be finishing the Christmas light splits the night book (mostly Lesson 4 focusing on Peace!). Then next week January 14, we will begin a new study of Hosea.

Now that it really feels like winter, as a reminder, if the Pella/PC schools have a Tuesday delay or are cancelled, Coffee Break will not meet.
