This Sunday’s message was a reminder we all needed… Jesus is enough.

Yesterday we were reminded of a truth that changes everything:

We don’t need Jesus plus anything else.
We don’t need to add performance, pressure, or striving to what He’s already completed.

Over the next 5 days, we’re going to walk through a simple devotional together that keeps pointing us back to the sufficiency of Christ:

Jesus Plus Nothing Equals Everything
The Perfect Image of God
The One Who Holds It All Together
Victory Over Death
Look Higher, Not Harder

Each day will include a short devotional, a Bible verse, a reflection question, and a prayer to help you slow down and refocus your heart on Jesus.

If life has felt heavy, busy, or overwhelming lately… this is your invitation to pause and remember what is already true.

You don’t have to add more to Him.
You just need to rest in Him.

If Jesus can be trusted to HOLD THE UNIVERSE together, then you can trust Jesus to HOLD YOUR LIFE together.

This! Such a beautiful morning at church!

Still time to make it, second service starts at 10:45. Don’t miss it if you’ve been needing a reminder, a reset, or just a moment to breathe and be filled again.

Your words reveal your heart before they ever reach someone’s ears.

Prayer doesn’t just change situations, it changes us. When we spend time with God, our hearts begin to reflect His heart. Frustration turns into compassion. Criticism turns into grace. Fear turns into faith.

The tone of our conversations often flows from the posture of our hearts. That’s why prayer matters so deeply. Before we respond, react, or speak out, we should first pray up.

“Prayer changes the tone of your conversation because it changes the posture of your heart.”

Before your next difficult conversation, pause and pray first. Then comment “PRAY FIRST” if you want your words to reflect the heart of Jesus this week.

Day 1: Jesus Plus Nothing Equals Everything
Devotional
In a world full of competing voices telling us what we need to be complete, the message of Colossians cuts through the noise with stunning clarity. Early Christians faced pressure to add extra requirements to their faith - special knowledge, religious rituals, or mystical experiences. Sound familiar? Today we're bombarded with messages that Jesus isn't enough. We need the right career, relationship status, social media following, or spiritual experience to truly matter. But Paul's message to the Colossians speaks directly to our hearts: Christ is completely sufficient. You don't need Jesus plus anything else. Your worth isn't determined by what you add to your faith, but by what Christ has already accomplished for you. When we truly grasp this truth, it transforms everything. We stop striving to earn God's love and start living from the security of already having it. This isn't about lowering standards or becoming complacent. It's about recognizing that our foundation is already rock-solid in Christ. From this place of security, we can love others freely, serve joyfully, and face challenges confidently because our identity isn't at stake.

Bible Verse
'I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.' - Philippians 1:3-5
Reflection Question
What 'plus' are you tempted to add to Jesus to feel more complete or worthy?

Quote
Jesus plus nothing equals everything.
Prayer
Jesus, help me rest in the truth that You are enough. Free me from the exhausting pursuit of trying to add to what You've already completed.

What if real faith isn’t proven when God says yes… but when He’s still worthy even if He says wait?

It’s easy to trust God when the outcome looks the way we hoped.
But mature faith learns to worship even in uncertainty.

Faith isn’t just believing God can move mountains.
It’s believing He is still good, still faithful, and still worthy no matter what the outcome looks like.

That kind of faith changes everything. 🙏

If you’re choosing to trust God in the middle of uncertainty, drop a 🙌 in the comments or share this with someone who needs the reminder today.

What happens when faith gets tested in the fire?
This week’s sermon recap devotional walks through the powerful story of Daniel’s friends and reminds us that compromise isn’t worth it, God is faithful in the fire, and your faith can become a light to others. 🔥

In a world constantly pulling us toward compromise, God is calling us to courageous faith.

This 5-Day Devotional Recap dives into the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and challenges us to stand firm, guard our hearts, choose godly friendships, and trust God no matter the outcome.

Whether you’re walking through pressure, uncertainty, or your own “fire,” this devotional is a reminder that God is with you in the middle of it all.

Each day includes a devotional, scripture, reflection question, quote, and prayer to help you grow deeper in your faith this week.

Days 1–5 are all in the comments below ⬇️🔥

Take a few minutes each day this week to lean into God’s Word and reflect on what it means to live with bold faith.

Still thinking about Sunday’s worship set… 🙌

There’s something powerful about carrying the songs we sing on Sunday into the middle of our week. Yesterday we were reminded again of the goodness, greatness, and faithfulness of God through every moment of worship together.

This week’s setlist included:
• Be Glad — Be Glad by Cody Carnes
• Great Are You Lord — Great Are You Lord by All Sons & Daughters
• Such an Awesome God — Such an Awesome God by Maverick City Music

As you move through this week, let these songs remind you that God is still worthy of praise in every season.

Which song has been stuck in your head since Sunday? Let us know in the comments!
