🕊️ THEIR LEGACY STILL SPEAKS 🕊️
As we prepare for our Family Forever 2026 Celebration on Sunday, November 15th, we pause to remember and honor those who were once a part of the Christ in Me Family and have gone on from labor to reward.
Today, we are sharing the pictures of three, Buck Oden, Kris Sanders, Byron Sanders
whose lives, service, love, and contributions helped make our church family what it is today.
Though their seats may now be empty, their legacy is still speaking. What they gave, how they served, and the lives they touched will never be forgotten.
On November 15th, we will give special recognition to their memory, and a representative from each family will be presented with a certificate of recognition in honor of their loved one and the contributions they made to our church family.
We invite their families, former members, current members, and friends to join us for this special day of remembrance, reconnection, and celebration.
❤️ Some helped build it. Some are building it. Some are coming home to it.

As we prepare for our Family Forever 2026 Celebration, we are excited to announce that we will be recognizing three of our former Choir Directors and Praise & Worship Leaders! 🎤🎹🎶

We are especially excited and grateful that all three have agreed to come back and be a part of this special celebration!

🌟 Our Special Honorees:

* Debbie Donald

❤️ We must never forget that we didn’t get where we are today by ourselves. Somebody prayed, somebody served, somebody sacrificed, and somebody helped lay the foundation on which we are still building!

The truth is, we are standing today on the shoulders of those who helped carry the ministry yesterday.

Their dedication, their gifts, their leadership, and their commitment to ministry helped shape the church family we are today.

At Christ in Me Family, we believe that you don’t have to be present today for your contributions of yesterday to still be appreciated!

On November 15th, we’re not just celebrating where we are. We’re honoring those who helped us get here!

🙌🏽 WHAT A SPIRIT-FILLED SUNDAY AT CHRIST IN ME FAMILY! 🙌🏽🔥

What an amazing day of fellowship, encouragement, and worship!

We kicked off our Sunday with an outstanding Men’s Breakfast, led by Pastor Leonard Shackelford, who delivered a powerful and inspiring message to our men.

💕 We also celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Day, with our special guest speaker, Felicia Glover Carter, who did a spectacular job sharing and encouraging us!

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to both speakers for pouring into our church family. You were absolutely phenomenal!

🔥 And if that wasn’t enough, our Sunday Morning Worship Experience was nothing short of amazing! The presence of God filled the house, and Pastor Orr delivered a powerful Word that blessed and challenged us!

From breakfast to breast cancer awareness to morning worship, God was moving all day long!

MEN’S BREAKFAST | THE WEIGHT MEN CARRY

Men, join us Sunday, October 11th at 8:00 AM for a powerful morning of food, fellowship, and real conversation, led by Pastor Leonard Shackelford.

Men are often told:

Be strong. Provide. Protect. Lead.

But behind that strength, many men are carrying weight.

The weight of responsibility.
The weight of expectations.
The weight of our past.
The weight of providing.
The weight of things we rarely talk about.

Sometimes we carry things God never intended for us to carry alone.

Men, you don’t have to carry everything by yourself. Come sit at the table with other men, enjoy breakfast, and let’s have a real conversation about THE WEIGHT MEN CARRY.
