Holy Trinity Christmas Eve Candle Light Worship Service is December 24 at 6 PM. Our other parish church is Nazareth Lutheran Church; the Christmas Eve Candle Light Service there is December 24 at 10 PM. We have formed a parish with Nazareth and have a full time pastor that serves both churches.

From the Pelion Police Department:
For anyone who needs it Pelion Church of the Nazarene’s fellowship hall (the big grey/white building on Norris St) will be opened till 9 pm today for anyone who needs a shower, to charge their electronics, or to sit in the a/c for a little while. They are located in the corner of Pine and Norris St in Pelion. They also have food on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your towel if you need to shower as they do not have any at the church. They do have bar soap but no shampoo. You can contact them on Facebook or at 803-220-9537 with any questions.

Dear folks
Today I had a lesson in posting videos to Facebook. I will post a Service of the Word for Sunday for you to watch. I have received my instructions from Susan Lyons, Holy Trinity Lutheran page administrator. (Thanks Susan. I needed that.)

To see this next video (and last weeks, too) become a Facebook member; search on Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. You will get a list. Ours is down the list about 4 entries. Join, Like and share the page.

I know this may be new and unfamiliar to some of you. It will be a way for us to be seen and be able to share with others in the Pelion community what we do.

I only have 19 member emails. When you talk with someone from Holy Trinity, ask them to send me an email using [email protected]. Encourage them to join FB, search for our page (Holy Trinity Lutheran - forth one on the search list), join, like, and share. In this way, I have an easy way to share important news as it comes up.

For any without computer or the fancy phones that go on line, my next quest will be to make a modest US Postal Service mailing to those households. Help me know who those are by sending me their names. I will compare it to our Member List and mail via USPS only those who do not have email.
