Calvary Birmingham is a Free Grace church that teaches the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. Free Grace theology is the view that everlasting life is a free gift that cannot be lost, received by faith alone in Christ alone, apart from works of any kind; assurance of our eternal destiny is based solely on believing Jesus’ promise to the believer, and not on looking to our works, experiences, or behavior; believers are accountable for our actions before God, and will be judged at the Bema to determine our eternal rewards, but not our eternal destinies.

I’m not sure if this is an effective means of communication anymore as there is so much spam. I’ve been hired to a film that is shooting this weekend and am thus not in town. I’m staying in an airstream near a lake, which would normally be really nice but with very little tree cover and 100 degree temps has felt like living in a can.

As usual I have prerecorded the teaching from Acts 16 for Sunday at church.

Oh and if you are watching the broadcast, worship music time is cut out (sorry, it’s just logistics issues) so the video for Acts 16 will start at 10am CST.
