Join us at The Church At Shiloh for our celebration of Easter!! HE IS RISEN!!

As our church concludes our season of prayer and fasting on Easter Sunday, I wanted to share some thoughts.

"Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter - when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"
Isaiah 58:7

Isaiah reminds us that the fast God chooses includes feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and caring for those in need. Spiritual discipline is never meant to stop at personal growth - IT IS MEANT TO PRODUCE COMPASSIONATE ACTION!

As you have prayed and fasted, your heart has been softened. Now that tenderness becomes service.

NOTE: It is easy to focus on our own breakthrough. But strength in the Kingdom is not measured only by what we overcome - it is measured how we bless others.

Serving keeps humility alive. It prevents spiritual pride from taking root. It reminds us that EVERYTHING WE RECEIVE FROM GOD IS MEANT TO FLOW THROUGH US!

WHEN WE SERVE, WE ARE A REFECTION OF JESUS CHRIST!!

"Look among the nations and watch-be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you."
Habakkuk 1:5

Many Christians seek God's voice through prayer, through His Word, or through His messengers. Yet sometimes we fail to hear God speak through His activity, even though He is working all around us. God encourages His people to watch for His activity so they will know how they should respond and adjust their lives.

Watching Jesus hang upon the cross communicated a compelling message of what God was willing to do to free people from sin. Discovering the empty tomb revealed an astounding truth of God's victory over death!

If you want to hear God's voice, look around you to see what He is doing. When you are watching for God at work, what you see will reveal His character, and you will have a fresh understanding of how to respond to Him.

Keys To Victory As A Child Of God

"After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly."
Acts 4:31

As the church continues our prayer and fasting journey leading to Easter, here are some highlights from one of our daily devotions.
Boldness does not mean aggression. It means confidence rooted in conviction.

Fasting builds inner strength. It fortifies your spirit so that when pressure comes, you do not shrink back.

You may face moments where standing for truth feels uncomfortable. You may be tempted to remain silent to avoid tension. But courage grows in prayer!

When you spend time with God, fear loses its grip. His presence reminds you that you are not alone. His Spirit empowers your voice.

Boldness begins privately before it manifests publicly.

Today, ask God for courage - not only to speak truth, but to live it!

Strength is not loud. It is steady. Stand firm with grace.
