Today our amazing volunteer team from Gethsemane Church had the opportunity to serve at Pathway Ministries. It was a tremendous blessing to lend a helping hand and be a small part of the wonderful work God is doing there. We are thankful for everyone who volunteered and for the chance to serve others for the glory of God!

The kids who got dragged to church turned out alright.

Ask around. The people you trust most, the ones who show up, keep their word, and stay steady when life gets hard, often grew up with a standard they did not choose for themselves. A pew on Sunday. A reason bigger than their own feelings. Someone who made them go when they did not feel like it.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. The verse never promised a perfect kid. It promised a foundation that holds.

Sunday morning was never only the hour in the building. It was the rhythm. The showing up. The quiet lesson that some things are worth doing whether you feel like it or not. 🙏

That foundation is still the best gift a family can give. Copied
