With School starting back up, this weeks lesson is memorizing a simple verse:

2 Timothy 2:15 “Sudy to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Make sure you take time and read God’s Word, or the Bible for yourself!

Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed

Freedoms are not free. I’m sure you’ve heard that statement before. Well, let me tell you it’s true. It cost someone something very big and important. For the freedoms we enjoy in our country, our freedoms were bought by our founding fathers and is kept by those that serve this nation. Please note I did say serve this nation and not their own agendas.

The Bible verse I shared is words Jesus said. The freedom he offers cost him much as well. It cost him his blood and pain, His relationship with the Heavenly Father and it cost him Hos life. But the freedom He offers only had to be paid for once.

You see young people, and young at heart; the freedoms we enjoy and can have through Christ were paid for by people who put others before themselves. They paid the price for others. Don’t waste the freedoms we have in our nation. Use and enjoy each and everyone. The freedom that Jesus offers is a freedom from the penalty from sin and an eternity with Him. We can enjoy that freedom when we trust Him as our Savior.

Remember the saying: Freedom isn’t free. Some one paid the price for you. Don’t waste it or throw them away!
