What a great weekend Early Childhood had! Saturday was our Breakfast at the Manger, where we read a story with Pastor Shawna, had a yummy breakfast, did a craft and even had an indoor snowball fight! On Sunday morning we presented our Christmas program, “Christmas in our Jammies.” The kids all worked so hard and did a fabulous job, I’m so proud of all of them! Thank you to all the parents and volunteers for pouring the love of Jesus into our kids. I absolutely love being able to teach our youngest family members about Jesus!

September! Another month, another theme. This month is all about Trust. The definition says “putting your confidence into something you can depend on” always having the confidence within your self and when you can’t then you know you can always depend on God. Sometimes our confidence is knocked down a little bit. Through that we lose trust in those people that might knock our confidence down, we always can depend on the one person to who we never lose our trust, God! One amazing father that continuously sticks up for us, loves and cares for us. We can’t wait to see how you can grow this month through the trust that you learn to put into God instead of depending on the people around you to give you the confidence you are looking for.

AH! Back to your regular scheduled programming and back to school time….We continue back with our KZ faces that we get to see each week as everyone heads back to school. I hope that it has been a great first full week back. This week, we talk all about making plans, everyone makes that plan to stay the night at their friends house or Grandma and Grandpa’s house. We make plans to have dinner with family or celebrate birthday parties. We all make plans, but the real plan is the plan that God for each and every one of your lives. Every single thing that we plan might not be in God’s plan for our lives. Understanding that with time he will allow things to happen, we just have to be ready to listen and make the leap. So I leave you with this, open your Bible to Jeremiah 29:11 and take a look at what is inside.
