She knew what it meant to face an unknown future.

Corrie ten Boom helped hide Jews from the N***s during World War II. She was arrested. Her father died in prison. Her sister Betsie ten Boom died in a concentration camp. Corrie walked through suffering few hearts can fully imagine.

So when she spoke about trusting God, she was not speaking from comfort.

She said:

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

Those words were not borrowed.
They were forged in darkness.

She knew what it was to not know if tomorrow meant freedom or death.
To not know if prayer would be answered the way she hoped.
To not know how pain could ever make sense.

Yet she learned this:

The future may be unknown to us,
but it is never unknown to God.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11

You may not know what comes next.
But you can know the One who does.

What a wonderful week of revival at FBCP! The Holy Spirit showed blessed us all. Yesterday was the climax with The Promise blessing us! Then 3 baptisms!
