Maybe you've been attending the Divine Liturgy your whole life. Maybe you're new to our Church. Do you really understand what the words and the gestures of the Liturgy mean? Beginning this Sunday, we will offer catechesis on the meaning of the Divine Liturgy, part by part. There's more there than you think.

Saturday, September 5: Confession 5-5:45. Vespers 6pm
Sunday, September 6: Matins 8am. Divine Liturgy 9am with blessing of our school children and fellowship for all.

"From heaven You grant us favorable weather on earth; giving both seasons of rain and seasons for harvest. Today, receive the prayers of Your servants. "I expect the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come." God promises it (Matthew 22; 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Thessalonians 4). The Mother of God is the first to experience it (the Dormition). God keeps His promises.
Christians have been celebrating the Dormition for almost as long as the Church has been legal.
Come celebrate the Dormition of the Mother of God: Friday, August 14, 6pm: Vigil Liturgy and blessing of herbs and flowers (bring your own!). All welcome.
