Looking for Some Help!

Peebles Methodist Church is looking for someone to clear the fence row in front of our church property along Measley Ridge Road.

The overgrowth is blocking the church from being seen from State Route 32, and we’d love to get the area cleaned up.

We are looking for someone who is licensed, bonded, and insured to do this type of work.

Meals of Hope Food Ministry Update 🍽️❤️

First of all, thank you to all who answered the call for assistance last week as over 600 bags of potato chips were so generously donated.

What began as a small outreach in January 2025 has grown into something beautiful—we're now serving and delivering meals to approximately 475 neighbors every Saturday.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." — Matthew 25:35 (NIV)

Through the generous support of our church members, community members, and local businesses, we've been able to keep this ministry going strong. We strive to keep each meal we serve at approximately $1.25 per person; however, with rising costs, that is proving to be quite the challenge as we work toward our goal of sustaining this ministry through Thanksgiving 2026. As we approach Thanksgiving, we'll be reaching out to our community once again with hope and gratitude, inviting partners to join us in 2027.

This is kingdom work—feeding bodies while sharing Christ's love with our community.

💙 A Last-Minute Need for Meals of Hope 💙

I know this is a little last-minute, but Meals of Hope Food Ministry at Peebles Methodist Church is looking for donations of small bags of potato chips for this Saturday’s meal.

As food costs continue to rise and the number of people we serve continues to grow, we could use some help offsetting the cost of this week’s meal. If you are willing to pick up small individual-serving chips, we would be incredibly grateful!

If you can help, please send Peebles Methodist Church a message through Facebook (Messenger if possible). We would need to know what’s being donated before late afternoon on Friday as we are making a food run to Eastgate.

Chip donations can be dropped off:
• Anytime—just place them next to the front door under the carport
• Saturday morning between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM (which is prior to meal delivery)

It truly takes a community of caring individuals to make this food ministry possible week after week. Every bag of chips, every prayer, and every helping hand makes a difference. ❤️
