“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24

Sometimes we wake up carrying yesterday into a brand-new day.

Yesterday’s disappointment.
Yesterday’s mistake.
Yesterday’s hurt.
Yesterday’s worry.

But God didn’t give us today so we could spend it living in yesterday.

Maybe everything isn’t exactly how you want it right now. Maybe there are prayers you’re still waiting on God to answer. Maybe there are things you simply don’t understand.

But you woke up this morning and that means God has given you another day to trust Him, serve Him, love somebody, encourage somebody, and live for Him.

Don’t waste today worrying about what you cannot change.

Give yesterday to God.
Trust Him with tomorrow.
And be faithful with today.

You may not know what this day holds, but you know Who holds you through it.

Today is a gift from God. Don’t just get through it live it for Him. ❤️

GOD’S PURPOSE WILL STAND 🙏🏼

📖 Proverbs 19:21
“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.”

We can make all the plans we want. We can picture exactly how we think our life should go where we should be, what should happen, and when it should happen.

But sometimes God has another plan.

A closed door may feel like rejection, but God may be redirecting you. A delay may feel frustrating, but God may be protecting you. Something you prayed for may not happen the way you expected, but that doesn’t mean God stopped working.

We see only what is in front of us. God sees the whole picture.

Sometimes our prayer needs to change from, “Lord, make this work the way I want it to,” to “Lord, let Your will be done, even when it looks different from mine.”

You may have many plans in your heart today, but hold them with open hands. Trust God enough to let Him change the plan, change the timing, or even change your direction.

Because when our plans fall apart, God’s purpose has not.

❤️ You can trust God even when you don’t understand the plan.

DON’T LET A HYPOCRITE KEEP YOU FROM JESUS

One of the most common things you hear is,
“I don’t go to church because there are too many hypocrites there.”

And yes there are hypocrites in church.

There are people who say one thing and do another. There are people who will disappoint you. There are people sitting in pews who still have attitudes, struggles, habits, pride, and problems.

But here’s something someone once told me that has stuck with me:

“Don’t let a hypocrite keep you out of church. One day you can either go to Heaven with them or hell with them but you’re going somewhere with them.”

That may sound strong, but the point is simple:

Don’t let someone else’s walk with God determine yours.

When you stand before God, you won’t answer for the person who hurt you, disappointed you, or failed to live what they claimed to believe.

You’ll answer for you.

Jesus told Peter:

“…what is that to thee? follow thou me.” John 21:22

In other words: Peter, stop worrying about what someone else is doing. You follow Me.

Church isn’t a gathering place for people who have everything figured out. It’s a place full of people who need Jesus. Some are stronger in their faith. Some are struggling. Some are growing. And yes, some may not be living the way they should.

But their hypocrisy does not change who Jesus is.

Don’t miss Jesus because you were watching people.

Don’t walk away from God because someone who claimed His name disappointed you.

Don’t allow another person’s failure to become your excuse for not following Christ.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” Hebrews 12:2

People will fail you.

Jesus won’t.

People may disappoint you.

Jesus is still faithful.

And when all is said and done, I don’t want somebody else’s choices determining where I spend eternity.

Follow Jesus for yourself. ❤️

FAITHFUL IN THE LITTLE THINGS ❤️

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things…”Matthew 25:21

Sometimes we think serving God has to look big to matter.

But God notices the things nobody else sees.

He sees the prayer you prayed when no one was listening.
He sees you showing up when you’re tired.
He sees the kindness that never gets recognized.
He sees the encouragement you gave someone who was struggling.
He sees every time you chose obedience when it would have been easier to walk away.

Jesus didn’t say, “Well done, thou famous servant.”
He said, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

God isn’t asking us to impress the world. He’s asking us to be faithful with what He has placed in our hands.

Maybe your assignment feels small right now. Maybe you wonder if what you’re doing is making any difference.

Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep showing up.

One day, the applause of this world won’t matter. The words we will long to hear are the words of our Savior:

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Lord, help me live today in a way that is faithful to You not for recognition, not for praise, but simply because I love You. ❤️

Be faithful where God has planted you. Heaven notices what the world overlooks.
