I’m a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, who struggles with codependency, depression, and right now, a crushed spirit. My name is Mary Alice.

My husband and I read a devotional together called Mr. & Mrs.: 366 Devotionals for Couples. Today’s devotional was titled “Joy and Sorrow,” and it spoke about something I know all too well—a crushed spirit.

Life can bring so many things that leave us feeling depleted and empty: financial strain, job stress, conflict with friends or family, sickness, grief, loss, depression, and anxiety. Sometimes, the weight of it all can feel like more than we can carry.

But here’s what I’m learning: I don’t have to carry it alone.

Celebrate Recovery has helped me face my hurts, habits, and hang-ups while drawing closer to Jesus and finding a forever family that walks beside me.

If your spirit feels crushed today, I want you to know—you’re not alone, and there is hope. ❤️

Jesus meets us in our brokenness, and Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to begin healing.

We meet every Monday 6pm and there is nursery provided.
