We celebrated a very busy Memorial Day 1 week late, but what a special day it was! The Worship Team and Freedom Quintet presented some great patriotic songs, we received 10 new members into our Freedom Fellowship family, and we enjoyed a traditional Hamburger and Hot Dog lunch with all the trimmings plus lots of homemade cookies and brownies. We were blessed that all the rain held off and we were able to get some healthy competition going with some volleyball games, corn hole, horseshoes and more. It was a wonderful, fun-filled day to enjoy being with family and friends who "are" family. Special thanks to those of you who shared your pictures of this special day and helped with decorations, setup and take down. You are so appreciated for all you do! Hope you will enjoy these glimpses of the day.

Sis. Dorothy Frisby, long-time friend and member of Oaklawn A/G, Christian Temple A/G, and lastly, Freedom Fellowship-Pearland went to be with the Lord yesterday. She and Bro. Mitch Frisby led an incredible effort in the east end of Houston with a special ministry called Salt Inn. Many of the people who were touched by their ministry are themselves in the ministry today.

Her service will be Friday, May 29th at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd., Houston, TX. 77089.

Viewing will be from 10:00 - 11:00 with the service following from 11:00 to 12:00. Please remember the family in your prayers.
