Thank you to everyone who came out to the Prayer Rally at Friendswood Junior High. I’m Reverend Patty G, a local chaplain and school bus driver, and today was truly a success.

We were blessed by an incredible turnout—more than expected—and it speaks volumes about the strength of this community. We had administrators, paraprofessionals, teachers, parents, and friends all come together in unity to pray for our students. Even in the heat, you showed up, and that means so much.

It was a joy meeting many of you and sharing this moment together as we prepare for the upcoming school year. Through —a collaboration between Together for Alvin and Modern Acts—we were able to pray over 74 schools across our area. Today, Friendswood Junior High was powerfully covered in prayer.

Thank you again for your support, your presence, and your commitment to lifting up our schools.

Hi y’all, it’s Reverend Patty G, and I just want to say thank you, Friendswood, for the incredible response so far!!!

We’re less than 24 hours away from our Prayer 4 Schools rally with Modern Acts, and I’d love for you to join us.

It starts at 3:00 PM at Manvel Junior High, and then at 4:15 PM we’ll gather at Friendswood Junior High by the flagpole 8/9! Modern Acts

We’re coming together to pray over our students, teachers, staff—our whole school community.
Whether you have faith or simply care about our schools, you’re welcome. Come stand with us.

Here is a list of the 74 campuses we will be praying on this Sunday, August 9th at 4:15PM! There will be a prayer leader on each campus wearing a light blue Pray 4 Schools shirt. They will gather in a shaded spot near the entrance of the school. Also plan to join us before that for a prayer rally in the Manvel Junior High Cafeteria at 3:00PM!
