Support Our Youth Mission Trip to Matagorda! 💙🌊

This summer, our youth will be traveling to Matagorda, TX for an ecological mission trip focused on caring for God’s creation and supporting wildlife habitat restoration on Dog Island. They will be building benches and helping construct a water catchment system to benefit the island’s wildlife and natural environment. 🌎🦋

We invite you to join us for our Fundraiser Brunch on Sunday, June 14th at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall! Enjoy a delicious waffle bar and other breakfast favorites, fellowship with friends, and take a chance on some amazing raffle prizes, including a Date Night Basket, Astros Basket, and beautiful Sea-Themed Quilt. 🧇⚾🎟️

🔨🌿 What an exciting day for our New Life Youth!

Our mission team is officially underway as the youth began building benches for their upcoming July Mission Trip to Dog Island in Matagorda, Texas!

These hardworking youth have already started putting their faith into action, creating benches that will be installed on the island. During the trip, they will also help build a rainwater catchment system to provide a sustainable water source for birds and other wildlife. 🌎❤️

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork, and servant hearts they are showing. Watching them learn new skills, work side by side, and prepare to care for God's creation is a beautiful reminder of what it means to live out our faith.

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." — 1 Peter 4:10 ✝️

There's still plenty of work ahead, but they're off to a fantastic start! 🙌

🌺 A Spirit-Filled Sunday at New Life! 🌺

We were blessed to welcome Reverend Cassandra Nagle, the Bishop’s Associate for Community and Call Process for the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod. Pastor Cassandra shared an inspiring message during worship and spent time meeting with our Call Committee as we continue moving forward in the call process. Her presence, encouragement, and guidance were a true blessing to our congregation. 🙏

Following worship, our WELCA group hosted a fun and festive luau-themed luncheon. Members and guests enjoyed a delicious meal, meaningful fellowship, creative arts and crafts activities, and lively line dancing! 🌴🍍🎨💃

Days like these remind us of the many blessings we share as a church family. We give thanks for the opportunity to gather in worship, grow together in faith, and strengthen the bonds of fellowship that make New Life such a special community. ❤️

🚗🧽 What an amazing day at our New Life Youth Car Wash! ☀️💙

Our youth and parents worked incredibly hard today raising funds for our Youth Mission Trip this July. From washing and drying cars to holding signs and greeting everyone with smiles, it was truly a team effort! 🙌

We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support us, brought their cars to be washed, donated, encouraged our youth, and helped make today such a success. Your generosity means so much and helps make this mission trip possible for our students. ✝️💦
