What a week!!!

Kids danced, laughed, made a mess, learned about Jesus, and heard the truth that they're deeply loved by Him. Thank you to every volunteer who served, every parent who trusted us with their kids, and every family that joined us for the first time.

But we're not done yet!

Next week our Local Missions team will be taking VBS out into our community, and we'd love for you to be part of it. If you've been looking for a simple way to serve and make a difference, this is it! You can sign up to serve on our website!

The decorations have now come down. The paint has washed off. The glitter will eventually (hopefully!) disappear. But we believe God's Word doesn't return empty, and we're praying that seeds planted this past week will grow for years to come.

We may have faced a few technical difficulties yesterday, but the message stayed the same!

Faith isn't measured just by what we know, it's revealed by how we live.

James reminds us that faith isn't just agreeing with truth. It's forgiving when it's hard. Serving when no one notices. Giving when it's costly. Taking the next step when obedience requires something of us.

We don't obey so God will love us.
We obey because He already does.

So here's the question we left with yesterday:

The early church struggled with a vision problem, seeing people through the world's system rather than God's. James admonishes them to value everyone equally, not making judgments based on wealth. The rich were seen as opportunities, the poor as obligations.
