Sneak peak of some new friends I’m bringing back to Pearl Church from ICM! They are so excited to be adopted into our family! The trip home will be much more fun with them riding back with us! I can’t wait for all my little besties to meet them! Oh, and we won some great books that I think will be super beneficial in helping to heal some little hearts!

As we sat at lunch yesterday, some of our Kidz were able to actively witness and become prayer warriors for a couple from the delta that had a precious little girl 5 1/2 weeks early.
We promised to add her to our Kidz min prayer board!
Baby Evelyn Claire needs our prayer for her little body to be able to breath on her own and for all the things in her sweet tiny little life to be 100% healed so she can go home with her precious mom and dad.
Please pray for Evelyn Claire and her parents!!!

Today is the day!!!

Sunday we agreed to do our best in participating in the 21 days of prayer.

CGPkids is excited to share that we have a 21 Days of Prayer Guide for Kids this year. Our hope is that this devotional can be a simple guide to bring children closer to Jesus, teach them kids more about connecting with Jesus, and make Him a central point in the weekly routines.

21 Days of Prayer is not just an event. It is an opportunity for families to set aside time each day to sit down together, play together, create together, and talk together all while putting Jesus at the center of it all.

Each day will have a focus verse, activity and sample prayer. We encourage you to take your time and connect with scripture and one another during this journey.

I often learn some of my biggest lessons with our Pearl Church Kidz. Our lesson was on the man at the pool of Bethesda Wednesday night and the troubled waters.

Troubled waters: to agitate, trouble (a thing by movement of its parts to and fro), to cause inward commotion, take away the calmness of mind.

We often pray for the storm to leave or pass quickly. But do we have enough faith to step into the storm believing God is going to move? Do we have the faith to believe he has our miracle?

Also…Jesus didn’t do what the man thought he would. He was expecting him to put him in the troubled waters. Instead he was just told to get up, take your mat, and walk. He deserves all the glory!

Pearl kidz class had a a special guest Wednesday night. Meet noodle. As we learned Psalm 139:14, we were reminded how God has fearfully and wonderfully made us, as well as lots of other interesting things. Thank you McKynlee for teaching us all things about noodle and being such a great leader!
