Talked today about King Solomon today in a children's church. This is the temple that was built. Solomon was told by God that he was in his favor so he told him he can have whatever he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom to guide Israel the way God wanted him to. This pleased God because he didn't make it about him but wanted to please God. So God blessed his kingdom. The ultimate wisdom we can have is trust in Jesus!

In Joshua it talks about when Joshua took over to lead the Israelites to the promise land that they set stones in memory of the Israelites. In the Memorial Day mode figured this would be story for today. They put in the stones how God is good to them.

So this is coming in today. We will begin with this Wednesday. We will launch a new start to Wednesday nights for kids as we are start series that is with Team KID (Kids in Discipleship). Good News series. A 40 week series that goes through all 4 Gospels. ! All parts of TeamKID contain Bible stories, Scripture memory, mission activities, life application, and recreation games used to connect to teach life lessons to kids. Exciting time for our kids. 6:30 Wednesday nights.

Judges 7:18

18 When I and everyone with me blow our rams’ horns, you are also to blow your rams’ horns all around the camp. Then you will say, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’”

We learned about Gideon today and how he and the Israelites overcame the Midianites with 300 men. This was craft we did we did. The pitcher that had a torch inside when the 300 charged at the Midianites. No matter the obstacle and no matter how impossible it seems God overcomes all!
