Kahikuonalani Church

Kahikuonalani Church Sunday Services at 10:30 am. Kahikuonalani Church was founded in 1834 by Reverend Lowell Smith. The present church, built in 1961, is located on Ho'omalu Street.

The church was originally built on Haupu'u Hill, where Leeward Community College now stands. Originally called the Ewa Church, it was renamed Kahikuonalani ("seventh sovereign of the heavens") in honor of King Kalakaua, who helped with church renovations.
