“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work," 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 (NIV).

In many places around the world, October is set apart as Pastor Appreciation Month. We join in this great celebration, saying "thank you" to every pastor who faithfully serves God’s people. Your sacrifices, your prayers, your guidance, and your commitment to the Word of God impact lives in ways seen and unseen. You stand with your flock in moments of joy and sorrow, you proclaim hope when the world feels dark, and you shepherd God’s people with love and courage.

For all you do, we honor you pastors! Thank you for your faithfulness to Christ and His Church.

We honored our veterans today at Pearisburg Church of God of Prophecy. We had two army Pastor Billy Brown and Don Law, 1 navy Zak Saenz and three Marines Charles Wickline, Danny and Benji Ratcliffe We are truly thankful for your service. Two of them are also police officers Danny and Benji Ratcliffe. We also are thankful for them for protecting the community also had Jason Taylor he’s in law enforcement to. We need to honor and respect our law enforcement. We are so proud of all the men.
