Rome and the Underground Church is the theme of our VBS this week. Tonight the kids learned how the first century church had to be careful how they approached other people to see if they were followers of Christ as there were those that persecuted Christians or imprisonment could take place. It was interesting to watch the kids process this bit as they navigated through the market area they quickly learned to look for signs or to present a sign that could be answered by other followers of Jesus.

Inflatables have arrived for tomorrow’s 250 years of freedom celebration at Peaksville. Services are at 9:30. Carry in meal following services with fried chicken and ham catered by Steve Howell. Games on the church yard afterwards. Several gallons of home made ice cream are being made

Clark County registration for Back-to-School backpacks and supplies is now open and will end on July 22, 2026 for Pre-K through 8th grade. Pick up date is August 1, 2026 from 8am to 12pm at Steve’s Event Center in Kahoka.
