In accordance with Pope Francis's motu proprio, "Traditionis Custodes", and in union with our beloved shepherd, Cardinal Seán Patrick O'Malley, OFM Cap., our purpose is to promote the ongoing pastoral care of the faithful attached to the 1962 Roman Missal in the area north of Boston, Massachusetts. We are firmly committed to the Roman Catholic Church and the authority of Pope Francis and the bisho
ps united with the Supreme Pontiff of the Church. We accept the validity and the legitimacy of the liturgical reform dictated by Vatican Council II and the Magisterium of the Supreme Pontiffs. We were founded in 2007 after Pope Benedict XVI's motu proprio, "Summorum Pontificum", to help arrange Latin Masses across the North Shore and Merrimack Valley. Within a few years, Saint Adelaide Church in West Peabody established a regular Latin Mass on Sundays and Holy Days, which is serving the faithful from across our area. Since then, we have maintained this page and domain in order to facilitate communication amongst those in our area who are interested in the Latin Mass.
