Today, we pause with grateful hearts to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never without cost. We pray for the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice, and we ask the Lord to comfort them with His peace.

May we never take for granted the freedoms we have been given, and may our gratitude lead us to live with humility, courage, and love.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

To every heart carrying a different kind of Mother’s Day, God sees you.

To the women carrying the ache of infertility, miscarriage, or loss. God sees you. May your heart be held today.

To the person whose mother is no longer here. God sees you. May you be comforted today.

To the single mums carrying more than anyone sees, God sees you. May you feel supported today.

To the mums in the thick of the toddler years, God sees you. May you get some sleep today.

To the mums who feel like they’re failing. God sees you. May you remember you are doing better than you think.

To the person who finds Mother’s Day difficult because of pain, disappointment, or a fractured relationship. God sees you. May your story feel honoured too.

To the stepmums, foster mums, adoptive mums, grandmothers, aunties, and spiritual mums.
God sees you. May you be celebrated today.

May every heart find comfort today, because God sees, God knows, and God holds you close.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful moms in our church family. 💐

Today we honor you.

Not just for the big things people see, but for the quiet sacrifices no one claps for. The prayers whispered in the dark. The tears wiped away. The meals prepared. The patience stretched thin. The love poured out when you felt empty yourself.

Motherhood is holy work, but it is not easy work. Some days are full of joy. Some days feel heavy. Some days you wonder if you are doing enough, loving enough, praying enough, becoming enough.

But may you be reminded today: God sees you.

He sees the hidden labor of your heart. He sees the ways you keep showing up. He sees the love you give, the burdens you carry, and the prayers you pray over your children, your families, and the generations coming after you.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.”
Proverbs 31:28

To every mom, grandmother, spiritual mother, foster mom, adoptive mom, and every woman who has poured out motherly love in seen and unseen ways, we thank God for you.

May the Lord strengthen you, refresh you, and remind you that your love matters deeply. Your faithfulness is not wasted. Your prayers are not forgotten. And your life is a beautiful reflection of the nurturing, steadfast love of God.

We love you, we honor you, and we thank God for you today. 💛
